My internet is a little cranky at home and I cant do much. Twitter isnt responding and Facebook is lagging so I've decided to put this here. I love you Marie.
Mariedigby: Hey, I'm a great fan of yours, met you in Singapore when you launched Breathing Underwater. So Sorry to hear about your Gibson. I feel the pain you must have felt. Pls take care, I believe that if its not playable anymore, something better is on its way real soon :) Hugs and love, aLvin

Week 2, its hell!
Ok, today isnt my best day at all. Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong.
Let me start from the beginning... Lessons today was scheduled at 1pm, means that I have the morning off to do my stuffs. I thought that Friday was good since there was only 1 lesson and it was in the noon.
I woke up at 10am, cause the night before I went to watch a gig by the seniors in my school and boy were they awesome. Really inspired me to practise real hard to be at their level. And they reconfirmed my claims that if you want your band to stand out, you need a really pro bassist. They are the X factor to have a really exceptional band.
Ok, back to the day. I woke up, thinking that I had a lot time to do my stuffs, so I went to wash a load of clothes and decided to make omelette for lunch. Before cooking, I kept my clothes that were washed the day before and started the prep for the omelette.
The first thing to screw up was the clothes. I put in a new towel and 2 pieces of clothing. I didn't know that the new towel would have the wool falling off and now my shirts have white fluffy stuffs all over. It was so hard to get it off.
Next while cooking the omelette, I accidentally left the plastic stir fry stick in the pan for too long. It melted and got stuck to the pan. Mega fails. Then trying to rectify all the problems, I forgot that I had class. I rushed to bathe and change and then when I came out of my room, my housemate told me that a cat sneaked into the house and ate my eggs! I had to throw away the entire portion.
After class, I went back home, packed my stuffs and had quite a bit of time before my flight. I prepared to leave house 3hrs before departure time. But the thing I never expected happen. From my house to KL Sentral was ok. Timing wise I was on time. Upon arriving at KL Sentral Bus pickup point that I realise that I just missed the bus by 10mins. I thought that the time interval is 30mins and when I check again, it wasn't. After 7pm, it changes to 1hr time interval. And I planned a 30ride to the airport, but the schedule showed 1hr15min. At that time, I thought I could reach the airport 30min before time and just walk to the gate, but no I was sooooo wrong.
Against wasting money verses missing the flight, I decided to have faith that I could be there at 9 for a 930 flight and still make it. I reach the airport at 9 and the ticket office told me that it was impossible to get onto that plane. I was devastated. I had to check in 2hours before hand! At that moment, I didn't want to waste time and I paid 42RM to get to KLIA to see if I could get any other flight back to Singapore. After 1hour of trying I gave up. Malaysian Airlines last flight back was full, both economy and business class, all the other airlines were closed. Took a 2.50RM bus back to LCCT and bought a ticket for the first flight back to Singapore.
Thank God Airasia counter wasn't closed yet. I was the 3rd last passenger who managed to buy a ticket. Now I am typing this off my Macbook Pro at Macs waiting for my flight at 615am.
School's fine. I realise that the pace of the teaching is good for me. Since I have to take theory, some lessons overlap. I need to work harder after this weekend cause I have not had the time to revise the lessons taught in the week. I really want to do well. I cannot afford to have any back log.
When I get back to Singapore, I will be so busy. There are so many things to get, both for school and for personal uses. In Malaysia not everything is half priced. Some things here are even more expensive than what I could have gotten in Singapore. I'm tired and bored and I wished I have a bed now!

Week 1, KL
It been a pretty fast week here in KL. So far so good. God is really really very very super duper good to me. Before I came, He provided financially. Being here in KL, I have real friendly people to take care of me and befriend me. There really is nothing to complain, except one thing: A Faulty Washing Machine.
Today I went to Ps Chris Leong's church and it was a really good time. Its a new place and the interior design is so awesome! Love it there. And there was a good time of worship and message, something that I really missed. But with all the good time spent, my mood was spoiled by a washing machine.
My greatest fear of doing the laundry really came true. I dont like washing clothes and its a real hassle, but I thought it should be easy since the owner is providing me with a washing machine. I wanted to get the clothes washed asap and so I was the first to use the machine. Little did I know that the machine is faulty. I was really angry, how can a new machine spoiled?! But hey! nothing really surprises me anymore in Malaysia, just expect for the worst.
Well the problem with the machine was that it couldnt stop filling water. Even when it has reached the max, it still kept filling and then it drains all the excess water. So I thought I give it a while to fill. After 15mins, it was still filling and draining and I suspected that it was faulty. So I told the owner to ask the man who installed the machine to come over tomorrow to settle this. With My clothes all wet and unwashed, I manually tried to hand wash the clothes but it was quite hard as the water was soapy and I cant rinse or change water. So I twist dry all my clothes and just hung them up. I still think that its not cleaned yet. Hope to wash it again after the machine is replaced or repaired. This has been the most frustrating thing that has happened so far.
Other than that everything is pretty much fine. Away from the comfort of home, I have to do everything on my own. I am beginning to be grateful and more appreciative of the things that goes on at home. I know I am going to learn more that music and skills in this 2 years of studying here in KL

Before June disappears...
June passed in a blink of an eye. It began with Church camp and ended with farewell parties. The Bad and The Good, all happened in a span of one month.
I've been blessed, so blessed that I believe that I can be a blessing to a nation or even nations, as my sphere of influence grows.
In this short amount of time I see how prophetic declarations come to pass, how favoured I truely am, how loved I was meant to be and how awesomely good God is. Honestly, tell me again, how many people have 2 weeks long of farewell lunch and dinners and never gain more than 1kg. I mean I am overwhelmed by the number of people who wants to have a meal with me before I go, then I am so amazed at how God helps to keep my weight in check. He also helps to build my "Buy a Gibson Humming Bird TV VOS" fund and gave me a new MacBook Pro.
I am so very grateful. If I tell you what has happened to me in this short time, please dont think that I am boasting. Well, maybe I am boasting in the goodness of my Lord, but I am in no way boasting of myself or making you feel envious. I am so excited at all the good prospects that are coming that I really want to just tell the World that I have a Father whose blessings knows no bounds.
I would miss my family and friends a lot when I go to KL. I would make new friends there, no doubt, but here in SG, that's where my heart really is. I would not go anywhere else, even if its hard to live here. I cant bear to be far away from my family and my friends.
One new thing that I've learnt is that beside knowing, seeing and beholding His glory, being a blessing to a nation is reflecting His glory. Man will praise Him because of how you live an yielded life to Jesus. That truely is an Honour and what He has made us for.

Queenie
All I need is a simple girl and I'll make her my wife, no no, make her my Queen.
Just that Singaporeans girls aren't that simple, let me look else where...

6ix, I hold u accountable to this
I made a vow to God, my Father in Heaven;
Jesus, my Saviour, Lord and Friend;
Holy Spirit, the Comforter, Wisdom and Seal;
that from today onwords, my lips shall only praise Thy Name.
I will not swear anymore, or lie to anyone, or speak malicious words or make crude joke or bear any false statment of anyone.
My lips shall call out the destiny in others, speak of the gold thats in them, minister to their inner man, speak only life to them.
I, Alvin Ong, do solemnly pledge my vow.
In Jesus' Name, Amen!

We were meant to live for so much more
Ok, I know its been a while since I last updated this, but this time I'm blogging it to have this memory stored in here. I find this blog rather reliable.
Now, last Sunday, Mr Watchman Ngiam was the speaker at my church service and my group wanted to meet him to have him pray for us. Little did we know he had to leave (he still have to go back to his church to teach a class), so he asked Ailyn to speak to us, pray for us and etc. With her was Wilson and Theoria.
Let me fast forward this part to the part where we played a prophetic game. Wilson told us that we were going to play a prophetic game. We will take a few minutes to ask God for the keys to open our treasure chest. Each of our angels is carrying our treasure chest and inside we will find what our gifts are and they can point to us what our roles are also.
So I felt that mine was behind me on the left side, so I turned around and walk a few steps to the left and bend down, I kinda saw (in my mind) the chest on the ground. My key is the glory of God. A ball like thing. Its formless cause its like light (Illumination) but in the shape of a ball, but its heavy and the weight can be felt. Using that ball, I opened the chest.
Inside my chest was half filled with the same glory. Then I saw "Prayer" inside also and a Bible that was flowing with oil. Until now I still cant remember what else was inside, I know there should be more stuffs, but I cant remember.
(edited: a few days later I recall seeing a scalpel inside my chest)
After I saw all these, I was brought to a place in Space. There was no planets around, just millions and millions of stars. Then God said, I'll show you and flood in my glory. And in that midst of Darkness, His glory floods the whole place and I thought I could almost see His face. Just at that moment, Wilson asked us to described what we saw.
After we all had shared, Wilson said, He has 3 letters for Mark, Eunice and myself: PWR respectively. That is the short form for "Power" but more it means more than just that. P is for Prophetic, W is for Wisdom, R is for Revelation. And we will be working very closely with one another.
Then Ailyn said that she saw us like a body of a plane and I was the headlights, pointing and illuminating the way. Then she also saw us working in pairs; Mark and Joyce, Eunice and EnMin, Cass and I.
After that we got prayed for individually. And Ailyny said that she saw lightning all over and that it represents revelation. Words of revelation are like lightning, they can pierce deep into the hearts of man. And she said that since the first time she met me, she felt that I am a strategic person, good at planning things, probably that is why she saw me as the headlight of the plane, leading the group with a plan/strategy. She also prayed that I stand firm and not shift or succumb to pressure. She also said she saw something in me that I have been hiding for a long while, even my closest friends do not know it and God is saying that its alright to let it out, I dont have to hide it. But honestly, I'm not sure what it is. She also prayed that I would have more favour, unmerited favour and grace to be upon me. Lastly she saw a picture that I was leading a band, with an electric guitar and that it looks like a rock band but its not, and it was in a huge venue.
That vision she saw was a vision that I had seen 3 years ago. Just that when God showed that vision to her and she saw it from the front, when He showed me that vision, I saw it from the backstage. That was the only difference.
Oh man, I'm holding on to all these promises. I know He will bring them to pass no matter what my current situation may seem.
